“The newly bloomed magnolia flowers are tender like spring shoots and enchanting; when fully unfolded, they are feather-light like white lotuses.” Whether in bud or in bloom, the magnolia flowers in Banhu Park have become a stunning beauty in spring.

Recently, dozens of magnolia in the "Yulan Yingbo" area of Banhu Park have quietly blossomed, swaying gently in the breeze and emitting a light fragrance,  "whispering" the story of spring like a shy little girl. A couple of magnolia plants have been in full bloom, with pure white flowers shining in the sunlight; and many Magnolia wufengensis blossoms are pink and white, looking like carefully carved works of art in the branches, attracting many watchers. “I didn't notice there are so many magnolia trees in the park. It’s not until the past two days that I saw the blossoming flowers during my morning jog. It’s stunning.” Ms. Song, who lives in Hupan Linyu, stopped and captured this breathtaking view with her phone.

“Yulan Yingbo is one of the Ten Sights in Banhu Park. The magnolia flowers and the lake set off against each other,” A staff member of Banhu Park introduced. There are many varieties of magnolia planted in the park, including Magnolia denudata and Magnolia wufengensis. They are expected to enter the full flowering period in mid March to late March when an endless stretch of magnolia flowers will be seen. Due to the short period of magnolia, usually only about ten days, those who are interested in flower watching should not miss it.
