Formality name: Identity confirmation of oversea Chinese, returned oversea Chinese and their relatives

Application materials: 1. Oversea Chinese (settled oversea): (1)application form; (2) valid passport, original and photocopy of residence visa issued by settling foreign country; (3) Chinese-language certificate issued by Chinese embassy (consulate) which certifies the applicant has been granted with right of permanent/long term residency in the foreign country; (4) time amount of staying in the settling foreign country (exit and entry record), together with its Chinese translation (made by translation organization authorized by Police authority and affixed with translation seal); (5) letter of attorney, and identity card or original and photocopy of valid passport of trustee are required if the applicant doesn’t come for formalities personally.  2. Returned oversea Chinese (oversea Chinese want to resettle in China): (1)Application form; (2) valid passport, original and photocopy of residence visa issued by settling foreign country; (3) certificate issued by Chinese embassy (consulate) which certifies the applicant has been granted with right of permanent/long term residency in the foreign country (original); (4) household register (identity) certificate issued by local police station of resettlement; (5) written commitment on voluntary renouncement of residence right in foreign country. 3. Family member of oversea Chinese or returned oversea Chinese (staying in China) (1) application form; (2) photocopy of the oversea Chinese’s photocopy of passport and residence visa; (3) Chinese-language certificate issued by Chinese embassy (consulate) which certifies the oversea Chinese has been granted with right of residency in the foreign country; (4) certificate of applicant’s relations with the oversea Chinese is required if applicant is spouse/parent/child/child’s spouse/ sister/brother/ grandparent/grandchild of the oversea Chinese; certificate issued by notary organization of county-level or level above which certifies the regular foster in case of applicant is a regular fostering relative of the oversea Chinese/returned oversea Chinese.
