Wandering along the thousand-year ancient road we feel inspired to splash ink for literary pursuit and eager to taste the authentic ten dishes... On March 8th, dozens travel buffs from all over China gathered in Keqiao to appreciate the charm of Road of Tang Poetry in Eastern Zhejiang.

It is reported that the event, sponsored by the District Cultural, Radio and Tourism Administration, focuses on the theme of "verifying the poetry of the Tang Dynasty with landscapes leisurely in Keqiao", which will explore many famous scenic spots to show the beauty of Keqiao in an all-round way. For tourists from all over the world, the event will create a "poetic, enjoyable and rich" boutique poetry itinerary, and further promote the city brand of"old Shaoxing ·Golden Keqiao".

The Road of Tang Poetry in Eastern Zhejiang is a landscape cultural corridor indulged in poetic and picturesque charm, and the leader of the cultural belt of Poetry Road with valuable historical accumulation and cultural heritage. Keqiao, on the other hand, is one of the most famous components of Road of Tang Poetry in Eastern Zhejiang, involving more than ten historical sites, such as Kuaiji Mountain, Ruoye River, Rizhu Ridge, Yunmen Temple and Mirror Lake. These are the necessary places for poets in the Tang Dynasty to travel in eastern Zhejiang, and also the famous poetic corridor created by more than 400 poets such as Li Bai, Du Fu, Meng Haoran, Wang Wei and Liu Zongyuan with more than 1,000 poems.
