On October 23rd, 20 Chinese torreya makers in 10 groups, from various villages, Chinese torreya enterprises and cooperatives in Jidong Town, competed with one another here. The judges evaluated the Chinese torreya stir-fried by the players in terms of appearance, stripping, fragrance, crispness and taste. Finally, Ren Chuansheng, Huang Chaoxian and Fang Huangzhong won the gold award, silver award and bronze award, respectively. On the very day, more than 200 mountaineers attended a hiking activity to feel the beautiful scenery of Chinese torreya in autumn.
