Recently, the winner list of the “2020 China Fashion Fabric Design Competition” was announced. Many enterprises in our district are in the list, including Shaoxing Lisen Textile Co., Ltd. The acetic acid fabric called "Light-colored Summer Foam" developed and designed by Lisen won the bronze award in the competition, and it is the only enterprise in our district to win such a significant award.

In the exhibition hall of Lisen Textile, the reporter saw the award-winning fabric - "Light-colored Summer Foam". Zheng Qingfeng, an engineer of the company’s R&D Department, told the reporter that acetic acid fabric is a new category emerging in the these two years. As the pulp is made from sustainable wood, the yarn is biodegradable in soil and fresh water environments, and the fabric is environmentally friendly and pollution-free. Additionally, the fabric is cool, antibacterial, and not easy to wrinkle but has a silk-like texture. "Considering the comfort of wearing, we have added high-end elastic fibers to the fabric. As the two kinds of fibers have different requirements on temperature in the dyeing process and the craft is complicated, we have conducted experiments for many times to achieve successful R&D." Zheng Qingfeng said. The award is the recognition of the company's R&D ability and will further stimulate the company's R&D enthusiasm, he added.

The “2020 China Fashion Fabric Design Competition” was held in August in our district. It attracted the participation of nearly 300 domestic textile and fabric enterprises, with up to 2,500 fabric entries. 71 Keqiao fabric enterprises with 600 works participated in the competition. In addition to Lisen Textile winning the heavyweight award, nearly 20 Keqiao enterprises such as Shaoxing Kaiheng Textile Co., Ltd., Shaoxing Shuixiang Textile Technology Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Jinsheng Textile Co., Ltd. won the "Honorable Mention".

The outstanding performance of Keqiao textile enterprises in this competition reflects that the design sense and fashion degree of Keqiao textile products are rapidly improving, and Keqiao‘s textile industry is accelerating towards high-quality development.
