Recently, the 2020 Shaoxing “China Green Cup” Bonsai Exhibition was held in the Guazhu Lake North Shore Park. A variety of uniquely shaped bonsais in 268 booths attracted many viewers.

Bonsai is a kind of plastic art. Gardeners “plant” majestic mountains, beautiful waters and ancient trees in bonsai pots in order to manifest much in little. Bonsai is also combined with Zen and calligraphy, forming a “3D painting” and “silent poem”, reflecting the value of oriental aesthetics.
