The reporter learned at the preliminary meeting convened yesterday that the 2020 World Textile Merchandising Conference (WTMC), the 2020 Keqiao Textile Expo (Autumn) Shaoxing China, and the 2020 Keqiao Fashion Week (Autumn) would be held in Keqiao District from October 26th to 29th.

Themed “New Industry Value & New Textile Contribution—Textile Responsibility in World Economic Recovery”, the third WTMC will focus on hot-spot issues including global textile supply chain integration, digital transformation and sustainable fashion innovation. At the same time, other events will be held at the conference, such as the China Textile City Overseas United Chamber of Commerce Founding Ceremony and China Textile City Overseas Spark Program Launch Ceremony.

Themed “Internationalization, Fashion, Green and High Grade”, the 22nd Keqiao Textile Expo (Autumn) Shaoxing China will be held both online and offline to highlight its three features, i.e., digitalization, technology and fusion. At present, the exhibition invitation work has been fully completed, with a total of 510 companies booking 1,270 booths. Meanwhile, a textile print industry exhibition, cross-border e-commerce summit forum, etc. will be held.

Themed “Fashion Source and Innovation Place”, the 8th Keqiao Fashion Week (Autumn) will highlight the concept of “Cloud Fashion” and launch a series of events, including cloud launching, cloud live broadcasting, cloud cooperation, cloud sharing and cloud promotion. The Fashion Week will be held at four levels, i.e., show, exhibition, broadcast and competition. Specifically, 11 local brands will jointly convene a launch conference, while 50 live brand shows, 3 design competitions and 1 fashion design exhibition will be held to showcase the textile industry of Keqiao, especially the new fashion image of Keqiao.
